seed nurture grow
Richard Tavener created and hosted a popular nationally syndicated radio and webcast show presented live each day on the Internet and on radio stations featuring interviews with "creative heroes," who put their imagination into action to start and build companies and organizations. The shows also include profiles of the Century's 100 most influential people.
To take the show on the road, Richard created The Tour of America, a series of live events on university campuses nationwide. With support from the Kauffman Foundation Center for Entrepreneurial Leadership, the Tour traveled across America hosting hundreds of events and uncovering powerful and inspiring stories. Over the years the Tour has logged 750 hours of event programming and traveled over 250,000 miles to nearly every state in the USA.

grassroots celebration of creativity
In three well-equipped motor homes, along with a professional crew, the Tour of America has crisscrossed its way across America to small towns and big cities, producing events at universities, high schools, big businesses, small businesses, retail shops, sports events, community centers, research labs and coffee shops.
A few examples of event venues include: the world's largest egg hatchery in Phoenix; a Cleveland Indian's baseball game at Jacob's field; Babson College in Boston; an NHL Predators hockey game in Nashville, TN; a contemporary fine art gallery in Ashville, NC; and the National Press Club in Washington, D.C.
